Samantha Lepard

Samantha Lepard returns for her second year on the shire bringing with her a curly-head full of fun as Lucy Hemptwister, resident hatmaker. Stepping onto the shire streets for the first time on a school field-trip in 2005 opened her eyes to the wonders of the captivating fantasy world that is the Pennsylvania Renassance Faire and she knew she was hooked. Samantha became a part of the Blackfryar cast in 2008 where she was able to experience the enchantment of faire first-hand as the colorful and spirited Lucy Hemptwister who, at the time, was the rope-maker's daughter. Samantha has explored her character further as Lucy grows from a carefree, mischief-making child into a fun-loving adult with her own occupation. For Samantha, being a part of faire is like living each day in a world that you remember dreaming about as a child. As you come and live your own imagination, keep your eyes peeled for the fun and mischievious Lucy Hemptwister.
